Rigging

Hopefully this'll help with the rigging. I forgot to mention, I figured out how I made the rig moveable when you export it. First of all, the armature layer can only have one pose frame. Click the armature layer to bring up it's properties. Then under Options: Type: click "runtime" (as opposed to authortime).
Press ctrl+enter to test if it's working.

Let me know if you guys need more help with this, or if you guys have any better ways of doing this.

  1. so how do you add multiple joints to a symbol, I keep trying to "Break apart" and I am able to add multiple joints but it makes the img get completely messed up. Also I get an error about not being able to add bones to bitmap images even though they are pngs and they have been converted to symbols.

    Freaking annoying!

  2. I also just uploaded all the cow pieces and a document outlining how I am trying to do the bones if you want to take a look

  3. That took me a while to understand, but you can't put multiple joints on a symbol. On the arm for example, you put the joint on the shoulder of the upper arm. Then extend the joint to the elbow on the forearm piece, then to the wrist on the hand. Then, because you can't add another joint to have full control of the hand, you have to add another symbol outside to connect to, like I explained in the bottom left.
The bone should stay in place in the symbol.

  4. Ok I see what you mean, I think I was getting confused because of how Daichi showed is. He "broke apart" the symbols and I guess when you do that it allows you to add as many joints as you want. Its just when I do that it makes the image get really f'd up so im just going to do it the way you have been....Thanks!
