New Layouts

Here are the first 6 background layouts. There's a total of somewhere around 22 shots, and I narrowed it down to about 15 backgrounds. This seems like a lot of work to have to do this many backgrounds from scratch, but the benefit of these layouts is that we only have to draw and rig the characters from the front and side, and then we can just change the faces/hands/poses as necessary for each shot. 

I got a little carried away with the linework, so it's pretty much already done. Maybe a little cleanup here and there, but they mostly just need to be painted, which should only take a few minutes. The characters will be done separately! 

I uploaded the PSDs to the drive. I'll try to get more done today, but I need to sleep right meow. 

I'll try to create a style guide for the painting, unless somebody else wants to tackle that. It would be cool if somebody could experiment with ways to paint these and post them on here for everyone to decide on.

 (It's really important that you stick the the values I provided. They're very carefully planned for the characters, text and buttons.  There's some subtle gradations here and there, that are all important!)

Reference those 101 Dalmatian backgrounds for how to paint these; you don't have to paint detailed at all, the lines do most of the work. I don't know what I'm talking about anymore.
