after I fudge around with text placement I'm going to put the PSD on to the drive
Given our limited time frame I don't know how much i'll be able to fix on this before we have to put it into ebook format, but any thoughts on the style and how to capture it better are welcome!
I would consider giving some depth to the door frame. Though he doesn't always give depth in his scenes, when objects are that prominent, Whitney tends to give them depth. Also, careful that his hat doesn't come too close to the door frame. Besides that, I think this is working quite well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Al. Also the husbands shirt and hat color look a bit off, the shirt should be greener and the hat should be more of a tan. I think he should be bulkier in the shoulders as well.
ReplyDeleteLastly, make sure the characters are on separate layers, Ill probably animate just her arm and maybe head in this though.

No problem! They are all already on separate layers. and I can change the colors around no problem. I was aiming to try and get a good balance between the color script and the original colors, but clearly I should fudge around with it a bit more.
